PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member for a wiring board that improves operability and securely holds the wiring board. SOLUTION: A spacer member 20 (the support member for the wiring board) for the wiring board 50 includes a shaft portion body 21 (columnar portion 21a) which is decreased in external diameter through elastic deformation to penetrate an opening portion 51 of the wiring board 50, and a plurality of projection portions 21b projecting from an outer circumferential surface of the columnar portion 21a and arranged at intervals L1 along the axis of the columnar portion 21a to penetrate the opening portion 51 of the wiring board 50 when the columnar portion 21a is formed to a small external diameter. In the state wherein the shaft portion body 21 (columnar portion 21a) penetrates the opening portion 51 of the wiring board 50, the wiring board 50 is arranged between projection portions 21b which adjoin each other along the axis of the columnar portion 21a, thereby holding a plurality of wiring boards 50 at the intervals L1 along the axis of the columnar portion 21a.
