The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting the breakage of a timing belt widely used in a variety of industrial fields and products. The apparatus predicts breakage of a timing belt by detecting a potential disconnection (i.e. cut or snap) of a conductive steel wire arranged in the timing belt, and allows preventive action (i.e. stops operation of the timing belt, replaces the timing belt with a new one, etc.) before the breakage of the timing belt, thereby preventing negligent accidents, damage to parts, etc. in advance. |
