<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact memory device which is carried and used conveniently. <P>SOLUTION: The compact memory device includes an electronic component, a light source and a package material. The electronic component includes a function for storing information. The light source is electrically connected to the electronic component. The packaging material is formed on the electronic component and the light source. A portion of the light source is not sealed with the packaging material and is exposed to the outside. The packaging material layer improves the waterproof property and durability of the compact memory device by sealing the other portions of the electronic component and the light source.
