<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress glaring by reducing the mirror finished surface glossiness of an intermediate density part in the case of carrying out printing on glossy paper using a pigment ink printer. <P>SOLUTION: A dot 702 with a clear ink is printed on top of a dot 701 with a color ink in the intermediate density part. The dot is thereby thickened, and unevenness is formed on the surface of a medium.
