PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure stable spool-braking force in a dual-bearing reel spool-braking device. SOLUTION: A centrifugal brake mechanism 23 includes a bottomed cylindrical brake case 65 arranged so as to open at a side facing a spool 12, a braking member 68 fixed to the inner circumference surface of the brake case 65, a rotary member 66 that is concentrically arranged on the inner circumference side of the braking member 68 and fixed to a spool shaft 16, six moving members 67 that are attached to the rotary member 66 movably in the radial direction and a cover member 90 attached to a first side plate 5a so as to close the brake case 65 and the opening part 68b of the braking member 68. The cover member 90 is nipped between the brake case 65 and the end face 68c of the braking member 68 and an end face not facing the spool 12 of a step difference part 5e of the first side plate 5a so as to close the brake case 65 and the opening part 68b of the braking member 68.
