PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, capable of protecting the information held by an OS from other OSs, in an information processing apparatus operable of switching a plurality of OSs. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus is operable for switching a first OS and a second OS. In the switching processing from the second OS to the first OS, by clearing the inside of CPU and by interrupting the memory regions 505 and 506 storing the data managed by the second OS, the data managed by the second OS are protected from the first OS.
