PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic meter capable of finding a measurement error due to water mixed in its flow rate measurement unit in an early stage, and enhancing the accuracy of measurement. SOLUTION: The flow rate measurement unit includes a measurement channel 4 and a pair of ultrasonic sensors 5 and 6, and is arranged horizontally. The ultrasonic sensor 5 is arranged on a vertical downward surface of the measurement channel 4, and is inclined with respect to a ground surface by arranging the measurement channel 4 so as to be in line contact with the bottom of the ultrasonic gas meter 1. A height position of the ultrasonic sensor 5 from the bottom of the ultrasonic gas meter 1 becomes at a low position, and a water surface position 7 corresponding to a water content of the same amount becomes higher than that when the measurement channel 4 is arranged horizontally similarly to the bottom of the ultrasonic gas meter 1.
