PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve moisture separation efficiency by separating moisture by suppressing flowing of steam in a space by a flowing suppression member. SOLUTION: In this moisture separation element 1, a plurality of separator vanes 4 are juxtaposed between upper and lower covers to separate moisture of steam passing through clearances 4a of the separator vanes 4. The flowing suppression member (mesh member) 6 for suppressing flowing of steam in a space 5 is provided in the space 5 between the separator vane 4 and the upper cover 2. Thus, since moisture is separated by suppressing flowing of steam in the space 5 by the flowing suppression member (mesh member) 6, moisture separation efficiency can be improved.
