PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel support member for a binding band which can easily attach the binding member by preventing the binding band from being hooked when the binding band is inserted into band through-holes or tightened, and can stably develop a tightening force of the binding band. SOLUTION: The band through-holes 22, 22 into which a flat binding band 14 having one surface 40 on which a serrate engagement projection 42 is formed is inserted are formed in elongated hole shapes. The long side 24 of the elongated hole shape which faces the one surface 40 of the binding band 14 on which at least the engagement projection 42 is formed is formed in a recessed shape swelling outward.
