PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold assembly in which a core pin is moved in and out by the motion of a cylinder unit installed on the outer part of a mold. SOLUTION: A slide block 6 is freely slidably arranged in the lower part of a fixed mold 2, a hydraulic cylinder unit 7 is attached to the side of the fixed mold 2 within the height range thereof, so that the slide block 6 reciprocates in the fixed mold 2 by the motion of the hydraulic cylinder unit 7. The front face of the slide block 6 is a slope 8, in the center of which a projection 9 with a T-shaped cross section is linearly installed. Meantime, a pin 11 is freely slidably inserted in the through-hole 10 of the fixed mold 2, wherein the pin 11 is composed of a tip end 11a and a base 11b. The tip end 11a functions as the core pin and is made exchangeable, while the base 11b has a larger diameter than the tip end 11a. In the base 11b, there is formed a groove 12 in a shape of an ant groove with which the T-shaped projection 9 is engaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
