PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the constitution of a method of forming metallic pipes efficiently as applying vibrating force and pressing force to a solid-like metal. SOLUTION: In a method of forming the metallic pipe 31, a male die 1, a female die 2 and a solid-like metal 3 which is housed in the female die 2 are prepared and, after making a position where the inner wall of the solid-like metal 3 coincide with the outside contour surface of the male die 1, the rush-in tip of the male die 1 is made to approach or brought into contact with the solid-like metal 3. Electromagnetic vibration or vibrating force on the basis of conversion to a reciprocating motion of the revolution of an electromagnetic motor 7 is applied to the male die 1 while injecting lubricating oil continuously or intermittently, the rush-in tip is moved accompanying pressing force to the bottom side of the female die 2 and also, by making the male die 1 penetrate while successively generating breakage in the solid-like metal 3 on the basis of supporting the bottom part of the female die 2 by force opposing to the pressing force, the above problem is achieved.
