METHOD FOR PRODUCING PYRIDINE COMPOUND AND PYRIDINE COMPOUND

Disclosed is a method for producing a high-purity pyridine compound from a crude pyridine compound which contains a diazine compound as an impurity.  The method comprises a reaction step wherein the crude pyridine compound is reacted with an aluminum hydride compound, and a distillation step wherein a reaction product obtained in the reaction step is distilled.  The aluminum hydride compound is preferably composed of one or two kinds of lithium aluminum hydride and sodium aluminum hydride.
