PURPOSE: A multi-layer glass assembly is provided to improve the insulation performance of windows by employing additional vacuum insulation layer. CONSTITUTION: A multi-layer glass assembly comprises a horizontal frame(10), a vertical frame, support bars(11), a fixing protrusion(30), a first vacuum insulation layer(S1), and a second vacuum insulation layer(S2). The horizontal frame and the vertical frame form a window frame. The support bars are projected on exterior walls(10a) of the vertical frame and the horizontal frame and support a pair of pair glasses(12) which are installed with a spacer(13) interposed. The fixing protrusion is formed on the top of the horizontal frame to install an additional glass(15) separate from the pair glasses. The first vacuum insulation layer is formed between the pair glasses. The second vacuum insulation layer of wide width is formed between the pair glasses and the additional glass. |
