ICE STICKS FOR COOLING OF BOTTLED AND CANNED BEVERAGES

Ice sticks of certain volume and the form of cross-section are used to cool beverages in bottles and aluminum cans. To hold ice sticks inside their containers with the aim of preventing them from getting into the mouth, bottle tops with small holes and openers of SOT tops are used. The optimal volume of ice sticks is proposed to cool all bottled and canned beverages; it allows cooling a ready-to-drink beverage well, without the loss of their taste properties and fit into any bottle and aluminum can without pouring into another vessel. The size and shape of the cross- section of ice sticks are optimized for beverages in bottles and aluminum cans with SOT tops. Ice generators and plastic trays can be used for manufacturing of ice sticks of desired shape and volume.
