<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to view a digital broadcast program interrupted during viewing at least from the interrupted point. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast program is assumed to be received in a receiving processing part 31 by selecting a program designated by an user. A failure-state detecting processing part 32 monitors occurrence of a failure state from a state of obtaining receiving data. When the program cannot be viewed from any cause, information on the failure state is accumulated in a failure-state accumulation part 33. When no cause for interruption exists and there is a request to provide a service from the user, the receiving processing part is connected to the distribution device 1 to inform of the content of the failure-state, and receives the distributed content, thereby enabling the user to view the broadcast content interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
