<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent PPARγ expression regulator containing a factor directly regulating the expression of the PPARγ, to provide excellent fat differentiation regulator, lipid metabolism regulator, osteoclast function regulator and inflammation regulator, capable of regulating the differentiation of a fat cell, the lipid metabolism, the osteoclast function, and the inflammation action by inhibiting the factor, and to provide a method for screening the PPARγ expression regulator. <P>SOLUTION: The PPARγ promoter sequence includes a base sequence comprising a specific sequence. The excellent PPARγ expression regulator can directly regulate the PPARγ. The excellent fat differentiation regulator, lipid metabolism regulator, osteoclast function regulator and inflammation regulator exhibit the activity thereof through the inhibition of DBP, TEF, HLF, E4BP4 or the like.
