PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair conditioning composition which enhances a sense of use of an oil agent left on the surface of hair and in the hair after rinsed and used, further enhances the addition of a non-tacky sustained moist feeling to hair tips after used, and a feeling for collecting hair tips spread by external damage, and can impart a hair tip-collecting feeling, even when continuously used for a long period, a non-tacky continuous moist feeling and a finger-passing touch having a good slipping property to the hair tips. SOLUTION: The hair conditioning composition includes (A) polyoxypropylene phytosterol having a propylene oxide addition mole number of 1 to 10, (B) a dicarboxylic acid ester, and (C) a cationic surfactant.
