PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can prevent dew condensation on a stepping motor, using a low-cost constitution. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a vent 7 for delivering air subjected to heat exchange, and a plurality of vertically deflecting blades 1, arranged in the vent 7 to deflect the air vertically. The plurality of vertically deflecting blades 1 are mounted in connection to the stepping motor 4 via a vertically deflecting blade bearing 2 and are jointed for integral vertical motion, by connecting bars 3 disposed at both ends. The connecting bar 3 on the side of the stepping motor 4 is a size larger than that on the other side. This can prevent cold air leakage toward the stepping motor 4 and prevents dew condensation on the stepping motor 4. Without increasing the size of the connecting bar on one side larger, not adding extra parts, reduced resin material cost is provided, and assembly man-hour requirements and the assembly time for implementing a low-cost constitution are obtained.
