PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily solid lip cosmetic having excellent moistness, smooth after-feel and excellent luster and being excellent in stability against a change with time or of temperature. SOLUTION: This invention provides an oily solid lip cosmetic being excellent in humectant effect owing to moisture entrapment, after-feel owing to film thickness, luster owing to the uniformity of a coated film, and stability against a change with time and formulated from the following components (a) to (d): (a) 5-8 mass% polyethylene wax; (b) 0.5-4 mass% fumed anhydrous silicic acid; (c) 20-50 mass% heavy liquid isoparaffin and/or polybutene; and (d) one or more liquid ester oils being liquid at 25°C and selected from among glycerol-skeleton-containing ester oils, ester oils of malic acid, ester oils of pentaerythritol, and ester oils of trimethylolpropane, provided that the polyethylene wax (a) is used in an amount of not less than 90 mass%, based on the total solid oils.
