PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a first terminal and a second terminal with low resistivity after removing dirt, oxide films and the like on the surface of the first and second terminals without fail. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a connecting device to electrically connect the first terminal and the second terminal. The connecting device is equipped with a holding section that holds a plurality of conductive magnetic particles between the first and second terminals, and a magnetic field generating section that provides a vibrating magnetic field between the first and second terminals and polishes at least one of the first and second terminals with the plurality of magnetic particles.
