Ferritin and inorganic particles are selectively placed on a vanadium, niobium or tantalum part on a silicon oxide substrate. Specifically disclosed is a method for placing ferritin, which comprises: a preparation step of preparing a solution containing ferritin modified with a peptide depicted in SEQ ID NO:1 at the N-terminal of a subunit thereof and 0.01 to 10 v/v% inclusive of a nonionic surfactant and having a pH value of 7.4 to 8.2 inclusive; and a binding step of putting drops of the solution on a silicon oxide substrate having a vanadium, niobium or tantalum part formed on a part of the surface thereof, thereby placing the peptide-modified ferritin on the vanadium, niobium or tantalum part selectively. By removing the solution subsequent to the binding step, it becomes possible to place ferritin modified with the peptide represented by SEQ ID NO:1 and inorganic particles enclosed in the ferritin on the vanadium, niobium or tantalum part selectively. |
