PURPOSE: A power separation type voltage and current detector is provided to charge a battery and stably detect a voltage and a current by separating the power of a battery from the power of a central processing unit through a photo coupler. CONSTITUTION: A battery unit(500) comprises a plurality of batteries. A voltage detector(100) outputs a voltage detection result signal by comparing the voltage of the batteries with a reference voltage. A current detector(200) outputs a current detection result signal by comparing the current of the batteries with a reference current. A central processing unit(400) generates a pulse width modulation signal based on the voltage detection result signal and the current detection result signal. A charging unit(300) supplies a charging current to a battery based on the pulse width modulation signal.
