<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for improving the reflectivity of reflective surfaces of antennas, the reflective surfaces being made of a composite material, comprising at least one layer of composite material. <P>SOLUTION: The process includes the steps of: (a) laminating a layer of plastic (3) comprising a metallization layer (4) on a layer of composite material (2), and bonding the metallization layer to a substrate of the layer of composite material in its preimpregnated state by means of the resin itself of the composite material; (b) cutting an assembly of the layer of composite material and the layer of plastic comprising a metallization layer; (c) forming strips or patterns from the assembly of step (b); (d) laminating the strips or the patterns of step (c) as a first layer on a molding jig; (e) preparing a vacuum and curing bag; (f) introducing into an autoclave; and (g) performing the curing cycle, in which the resin of the composite material, on polymerizing, bonds the layer of plastic comprising the metallization layer to the rest of the substrate of the layer of composite material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
