<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit further picturesque information, in a technique of transmitting/receiving information by using light as a transmission medium. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging part 802 receives light of bright spots associated with temporal luminance changes of light-emitting parts 120a-120l to create a coordinate data list 8031, and thereafter reads forms of the luminance changes on a bright spot coordinate basis to be decoded to information. In the decoded information, whether a plurality of bright spot coordinates having the same guide point ID information 902 exist is determined.
