<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new aluminum mixture structural material in which lightening is achieved by using a mixture including pure aluminum, and simultaneously, and to which strength is imparted and magnetism is imparted, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum-ferrite sintered compact is obtained by subjecting a mixture in which the weight ratio of powdery pure aluminum to ferrite is 90-50 to 10-50 to mechanical alloying so as to obtain a pure aluminum-ferrite mixture having improved hardness, and thereafter performing discharge plasma sintering thereto.
