<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which can correctly detect a soiled spot and make a cleaning of it. <P>SOLUTION: This air cleaner comprises an air suction port 2 which sucks air, a filter 3 serving as an air cleaning means which cleans the sucked air, a fan 4 serving as an air blast means which ventilates the filter 3, an air vent 5 for blowing out the air, a louver which makes a changing of the blowout direction of the air vent 5, and a gas sensor for detecting a gas component of the air which is arranged at least two spots.
