<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device capable of highly accurately detecting a concentration of a chemical substance in indoor air and accurately controlling a ventilation amount corresponding to the concentration of the chemical substance. <P>SOLUTION: The ventilation device includes: a ventilation fan 3 comprising air supply/exhaust fans 1, 2 for ventilating indoor air; a plurality of types of sensors 4 for detecting the concentration of the chemical substance in the indoor air exhausted by the air exhaust fan 2 of the ventilation fan 3; and a control part 5 for controlling the ventilation amount by the ventilation fan 3 in accordance with the concentration of the chemical substance detected by the sensors 4.
