<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a downshift even when a discharge solenoid is troubled at the time of high speed travel, in a controller for a continuously variable transmission upshifted/downshifted by a supply valve/the discharge valve. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the continuously variable transmission includes the supply valve 60 for supplying a hydraulic fluid to a primary pulley 20, the discharge valve 70 for discharging the hydraulic fluid from the primary pulley 20, a discharge switch valve 80 for discharging the hydraulic fluid from the discharge valve 70, a supply solenoid 52 having a supply position for bringing the supply valve 60 into a communicated state and for bringing the discharge switch valve 80 into a blocked state, and a discharge position for bringing the supply valve 60 into a blocked state and for bringing the discharge switch valve 80 into a communicated state, and the discharge solenoid 53 having a communicated position for bringing the discharge valve 70 into a communicated state and a blocked position for bringing the discharge valve 70 into a blocked state. A CVT control unit 90 detects a trouble signal of the discharge solenoid 53, to switch the supply solenoid 52 to the supply position, when a vehicle speed is Vb km/h or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
