<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a payment card possessor to confirm validity of detailed items of a bill. <P>SOLUTION: According to a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 201 of this payment terminal 2, when a payment money amount is input from sales data processor 1 by operation of an input unit 202 or through connections 204, card authentication of a card 6 contacting with a contact type reader/writer 207 or the card 6 wherein wireless communication with a contactless reader/writer 208 is established, and authentication of the payment money amount are performed. When the authentication succeeds, payment data are created based on the payment money amount. A payment consecutive number N1 imparted in each use of the card 6 by the authenticated card 6 is read from the card 6 by the contact type reader/writer 207 or the contactless reader/writer 208, and individual-verifying data including the read payment consecutive number N1 and the authenticated payment money amount are created.
