<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an image forming apparatus capable of making a gap between a cassette and a cover member small by preventing unnatural interference of one end of the cassette and the cover member when lifting up the cassette in order to pull out the cassette. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, when pulling out the cassette from a body frame, the cassette is lifted up until engagement of a projection part and a recess part which lock the cassette is released, and then the cassette is moved in a pull-out direction along a guide rail. Then, in the image forming apparatus, the cover member is attached to the body frame in a floating state so as to freely rise by abutting of an upper end of the cassette when the cassette is lifted up until the engagement of the projection part and the recess part is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
