<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the number of masks of an element substrate, to efficiently hide disclination, and to make optical leakage hard to be conspicuous for a pixel for displaying green of high relative luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In a transmission liquid crystal display of direct vision type, the element substrate includes a gate wire 311, a source wire 302, a pixel part having a pixel TFT, and a driving circuit having an n-channel type TFT and p-channel type TFT. Optical leakage is conspicuous for the pixel for displaying green of high relative luminous efficiency, so that the area of a drain electrode 313 serving as a light shielding film is enlarged so as to certainly shield the disclination. A light shielding electrode 314 serving as a light shielding film is formed with a narrow width for a pixel for displaying red. For a pixel for displaying blue, a high priority is given to the brightness, and only a part of the light shielding film 315 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
