<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of continuously supplying developer having appropriate toner density and charge amount to a developing unit by an amount required for development by charging toner by means of stirring the developer while the developer is less stressed with good efficiency in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: In the development device having the developing unit and a circulation unit, the circulation unit includes a developer stirring unit 40 storing and stirring newly supplied toner with collected developer. The developer stirring unit 40 has a first stirring member 42 stirring and mixing the collected developer with the supplied toner, and a second stirring member 43 pressed and moved only by stirring motion of the first stirring member 42 or the developer 70, and moving in an optional direction in the developer stirring unit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
