PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower unit capable of agitating air more efficiently than before. SOLUTION: The blower unit 11 is installed on, e.g., a floor surface or on a top plate of a rack. An impeller 21 arranged inside a housing 17 rotates around the rotation center axis RX. As a result, an airstream is produced in a centrifugal direction from the rotation center axis RX. The airstream in the centrifugal direction is discharged from an exhaust opening 24. The action of the airstream thus generated enables the housing 17 to rotate around the rotation center axis RX. The position of the housing 17 varies along the rotation center axis RX at each angular position on the periphery of the rotation center axis RX. Hence, the airstream is discharged, e.g., in a vertical wide range along the rotation center axis RX in addition to circumferential flow around the rotation center axis RX.
