PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derricking breakwater device capable of reducing the number of parts by dispensing with a hinge fitting or the like of a gate body (hingeless type) to constitute a simple support structure and coping with both of anaseism and backwash. SOLUTION: This derricking breakwater device can swing to a falling-down position D and rising positions U1, U2. The gate body 1 has a section from one end part 1a receiving wave power in the direction (a) of anaseism and the other end part 1b receiving wave power in the direction (b) of backwash to a lower face 1d coming into contact with a water bottom face 2 which is formed into a substantially circular arc shape or a substantially inclined shape when viewed on a side at the falling-down position D. When couple of forces is generated by wave power in the direction (a) of anaseism, the gate body 1 rotates in a connection part of a first fixing belt 4 after rolling and is held at the rising position U1 against wave power in the direction (a) of anaseism by a first holding member (an anchor belt) 6.
