PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance with an opening/closing lid which has a function permitting secure final closing. SOLUTION: The electric appliance includes an electric appliance body 1 having an opening, a lid body 2 attached to the electric appliance body 1 in a turnable manner around a spindle 2a to a closing position to close the opening or to an opening position to open the opening, and a closing means 22 for positioning the lid body 2 at the closing position relative to the electric appliance body 1. Rotation assisting means for assisting the lid body 2 in rotating to the closing position at least at a front closing position from the opening position to the closing position are disposed in the electric appliance body 1 and in the lid body 2 respectively.
