The present invention relates to a scan-type tactile display comprising: pin (100) which is movable in the upward and downward directions and serves as a tactile member and which has latch (110) adapted to be caught at wire (120); which is fixed at a predetermined position such that a right angle is formed between wire (120) and pin (100); separating device (130) which separates wire (120) from latch (110); pin driver (150) which moves pin (100) with one separated end to a desired position; coupling device (140) which again couples latch (110) and wire (120); frame (160) on which separating device (130), coupling device (140) and pin driver (150) are fixed; and linear driver (170) which linearly moves frame (160) in the direction of wire (120). To display tactile information on pin (100) of specific coordinates (X, Y) on the plane of the display, linear driver (170) first moves frame (160) to the X-point of the coordinates. Wire (120) is separated from latch (110) by separating device (130) fixed on frame (160) immediately before frame (160) arrives at the X-point, thus enabling pin (100) to be controllable by pin driver (150). At this point, if necessary, when pin driver (150) at the Y-point operates to control pin (100) so that pin (100) displays the desired tactile information, frame (160) further moves to enable latch (110) to get caught at wire (120) by coupling device (140) to thus fix the position of pin (100), to thereby deliver tactile information to users. |
