The spatially disintegrated switching block (1) has a gimbal mounted, switching lever (2) and a switch rod (3). The switching lever is connected with the switch rod in the area of an end of the switch rod. The switch rod is moved in the longitudinal direction by the switch lever. The actuation elements (6,7) and the actuation modules are formed as same parts. The actuation elements and modules are used by a vehicle with left-hand drive as well as by a vehicle with right-hand drive.
