The spring e.g. multilevel diaphragm spring (18), has a recess extending upward to an outer edge of the spring, where the spring exhibits degressive spring action characteristics. Two spring layers are formed in the spring, and a fuel injection valve (12) is supported against a cylinder head (16) by the spring, where the spring is formed in plate shape. The spring damps movement of the fuel injection valve.
