<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the occurrence of local strength degradation in a foam resin molded article caused by swelling of a foaming cell in forming the foam resin molded article with molten foamable resin. <P>SOLUTION: A method and apparatus for molding a foam resin molded article includes a supply process for injecting to supply molten foamable resin 3 into a cavity 1 formed in a molding die 2; a flow process for allowing the molten foamable resin 3 to flow to substantially fill the cavity 1; a molding process for foaming and curing the molten foamable resin 3 substantially filled in the cavity 1, to form the foam resin molded article; and an ejection process for ejecting retention gas in a weld forming section 1a formed by the confluence of a plurality of molten foamable resin flows within the cavity 1, to the outside through an exhaust passage 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
