<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chasing method for easily chasing with a sewing machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the chasing method, a sewing machine 10 equipped with a moving frame 18 for horizontally moving on a table 16 and a rotary head 20 for pivotally supporting a needle bar 21 about an axis center are employed under the condition that a needle-like anisotropic punch 25, the hit mark formed with which has an anisotropic form having a relatively longer direction and a relatively shorter direction, is attached to the tip of the needle bar 21 to produce the hit marks of the anisotropic punch 25 on the surface of a metal plate 40 arranged on the moving frame 18 by the vertical motion of the needle bar 21 and to change the direction of the hit mark of the anisotropic punch 25 by pivoting the needle bar 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
