PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device improved in mountability while maintaining the sealing function. SOLUTION: This annular sealing device in which an annular groove 102 is formed in the side surface on the higher pressure side includes a cut part cut at one position in the circumferential direction. One cut end 120 of the cut part is provided with a first projection 121 on the inner peripheral side of the side surface on the higher pressure side, and a first recess 122 on the outer peripheral side of the side surface on the higher pressure side. The other cut end 130 of the cut part is provided with a second recess 132 fitted onto the first projection 121 on the inner peripheral side of the side surface on the higher pressure side, and a second projection 131 fitted into the first recess 122 on the outer peripheral side of the side surface on the higher pressure side. The first projection 121 and the second recess 132, and the second projection 131 and the first recess 122 respectively form seal surfaces on which the side surfaces and the peripheral surfaces can be respectively slid on each other.
