METHOD FOR OBTAINING SPATS OF FOOD SNAILS OF HELICIDAE FAMILY

A method for obtaining spats of food snails of the Helicidae family includes keeping the snails in closed premises or open ones. Snails of the species Helix aspersa maxima and Helix aspersa aspersa are used as the material. Layings thereof are disposed into containers with specially prepared soil at a temperature of 23±1 °C, a period of incubation at the optimum environmental conditions lasts from 12 to 18 days. After hatching the snails are transferred to the other container with soil with a density of planting of 1000 individuals / mwith the further additional growing for 2-4 weeks with additional feeding of the spats of the snails with shredded mixed feed, plants and vegetables.
