<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording medium which has advantages such as excellent recording density, improved oil resistance and plasticizer resistance of a recording part, and is free from a problematical texture blushing even when preserved under a high temperature condition and has superb long-term reservation life of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording medium has a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer on a support. For the developer, a zinc salt of a 4-(n-octyloxycarbonylamino) salicylic acid is used, and contains 0.02 to 0.30 pt.mass of a tetrakis (1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl)-1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylate, with respect to 1 pt.mass of developer. The content of the zinc salt of a 4-(n-octyloxycarbonylamino) salicylic acid, is preferably 5 to 50 mass% with respect to the total solid content of the thermal recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
