<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved thin film solar cell as compared with conventional technology. <P>SOLUTION: The thin film solar cell includes at least one Na<SB>2</SB>O-containing multicomponent substrate glass, wherein the Na<SB>2</SB>O-containing multicomponent substrate glass (a substrate glass) should satisfy all of following constituent features. The substrate glass contains less than 1 mass% of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, less than 1 mass% of BaO, and less than 3 mass% of a total of CaO+SrO+ZnO. A molar ratio of the substrate glass components (Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O)/(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO) is greater than 0.95 (that is, the substrate glass contains at least Na<SB>2</SB>O or K<SB>2</SB>O, and at least MgO, CaO, SrO or BaO). A molar ratio of the substrate glass components of SiO<SB>2</SB>/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>is less than 7 (that is, the substrate glass contains SiO<SB>2</SB>and Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>). A glass transition temperature Tg of the substrate glass is higher than 550°C, in particular higher than 600°C (a temperature of glass viscosity 10<SP>14.5</SP>dPas according to DIN52324). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
