PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide implants that can be introduced through microcatheters into small-lumen vessels, that are well placeable and relocatable, that can be moved back into the microcatheter in case of need, and that are suited to cover vessel aneurism and fistulae in such a manner that these can be filled with occlusion agents.
SOLUTION: The implant has an near end and a far end and is provided with a functional part A with a mesh structure on the far end side and a taper part B with a mesh structure tapered to the near end on the near end side. The taper part B converges while having a connection point 5 which is attached with a guide wire for arranging to the implant at a prescribed position. The mesh structure of the functional part A has two edges 7 and 8 at the distal end. The implant is preliminarily formed to have a tubular duplicated structure extending longitudinally at a transplantation site, while also being formed in a volume-reduced shape of rolled-up structure so as to be inserted into the microcatheter.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
