PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a game machine which is capable of clearing backed-up contents while backing up the putout residual number of valuable articles. SOLUTION: The value of a residual prize ball number counter of a putout control board which stores the putout residual number of prize balls is held by a capacitor for backup even after the power of a Pachinko game machine is cut off. Thus, even when the power of the Pachinko game machine is suddenly cut off due to a power failure or the like, the number of prize balls which are not put out yet is stored and they are surely put out after the power of the Pachinko game machine is supplied again. Further, since the value of the residual prize ball number counter can be cleared by pressing a reset switch continuously for at least 5 seconds, even when the prize balls which are not put out yet remain from a test before shipping the Pachinko game machine from a plant for instance, they are cleared and the putout of excess prize balls is prevented when the Pachinko game machine is installed in a hall.
