PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which has low-temperature fixing properties even if a toner image is fixed to a transfer material by using a fixing device wherein a heating roller and a pressure belt are combined together, and ensures a wide non-offset temperature area for producing a high quality print image having no image defect in printing of a large number of sheets. SOLUTION: The image forming method includes a process for fixing a toner image, which is formed by using a toner for electrostatic charge development with a core-shell structure wherein a shell layer is formed on the surface of a core particle, on the transfer material to the transfer material by means of the fixing device constructed by combining the pressure belt and heating roller together. The core particles are produced by forming core resin particles obtained through polymerization of a polymerizable monomer having at least a polyvalent carboxyl group, and crosslinking the core resin particles mutually in the presence of polyvalent metal ions.
