PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner in which detection accuracy with a photoreflector is improved. SOLUTION: The optical scanner 12a includes: a mirror axis part (a first axis part) 22; a mirror part 20 which is rotated by the rotation of the mirror axis part 22; a photoreflector 31 which faces to the back face of the mirror part 20 and makes use of the back face of the mirror part 20 as a reflection face; and a mask (a reflected light attenuation means) 28a which attenuates the incident light quantity to the photoreflector 31 according to the rotational extent of the mirror part 20.
