PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the quality, and contribute to a quantitative evaluation of the durability of a structure including a change in a structural proof strength of an existing porous material, when a madreporic body formed by mixing and kneading the porous material, such, as cement and an aggregate, and a liquid is manufactured. SOLUTION: Disjoining pressures corresponding to two particular adsorption thicknesses are identified on a disjoining pressure curve that defines the relation between the average adsorption thickness and the disjoining pressure of adsorption water to a cement hardening body that constitutes concrete formed by mixing and kneading the cement, the water and the aggregate. The ease of change in the volume of the concrete is evaluated from the difference between two identified disjointing pressures. If the calculated difference is larger than a predetermined value preset by an experiment, it is determined that the volume of the concrete changes readily; while if the calculated difference is smaller than the predetermined value, it is determined that the volume of the concrete is less apt to change.
