摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably perform the positioning of a beam member while suppressing the vexatious complication of a series of operations related to welding when the plurality of beam members are welded to a column member. SOLUTION: In a building unit, first and second floor girders 23a and 23b are joined to a column joint 29 by welding using inside and outside backing materials 35 and 36. The inside backing material 35 which is elongated along inner peripheral surfaces of the floor girders 23a and 23b comprises a first inside portion 51a which is formed along the inner peripheral surface of the first floor girder 23a, and a second inside portion 51b which is formed along the inner peripheral surface of the second floor girder 23b. A flange backing 52a of the first inside portion 51a and a flange backing 52b of the second inside portion 51b are connected to each other in such a manner that ends of them vertically overlap each other at the outer peripheral side of the corner of the column joint 29. The outside backing material 36 is elongated along outer peripheral surfaces of the floor girders 23a and 23b, and constituted in such a manner as to be similar to the inside backing material 35.
